“Zhenhua 34″, a semi-submerged ship refitted by nantong cosco for ZPMC was successfully refitted on December 22, 2017 and successfully launched on January 11, 2018.”Zhenhua 34” was refitted by an aphra type double hull oil tankers which has gross tonnage of 58243 tons, total length of 244.5 m, width of 42 m, depth of 21.3 m. After refit, the semi-submerged ship can achieve to carry the large container bridge cranes, and carry heavy cargos by semi-submersible operations. The original ship length and width was remained, and the design draft is 9.2 m, the maximum draft is 22.5 m. The ship’s loading computer system CLOAD is provided and installed by Sea Control System corporation limited., which meets the requirements of the owner on loading 3d model of cargo, and provides the owner with customized loading plan, which has wide applicability.
