With CLOAD for Container Vessel, you can load any number of containers using either a simple drag-and-drop method or via well-organized dialogues. Loading can thus be entirely manual, or you can make use of automated stowage tools. The module offers complete control of the ship’s loading throughout the voyage.
CLOAD for Container Vessel includes a container module and the Stability hydrostatics engine.
Container Module and Cargo Loading
Develop preliminary and final stowage plans with this software. The general interface includes a booking list, the Bay plan Overall window, and the Detail window (where a single selected bay is displayed). An interface with the hydrostatics engine allows instant checking of ship’s hydrostatic characteristics.
Loading is accomplished by dragging either an individual container or a group of containers from the booking list window into one of the bays in either the detailed or overall views. A group of cells can also be selected to load temporary containers not yet specified in the booking list. Containers with dangerous cargo are clearly marked and segregation conflicts are identified. User-defined colours specify containers by IMO Class, port of loading or port of discharge. Container information displayed on the screen includes load port, discharge port, container number, IMO Class, type, and weight.
File Exchange
The container module offers EDI/BAPLIE for import and export of bookings. Or if you have a specific file format that you require to interface with your booking system, we will develop it for you. All reports can be transmitted electronically in Excel or common text formats. Currently CLOAD could support the latest EDI version 2.2 & 3.1.
Reports
The container module reports include single and overall bay plans, as well as dangerous cargo manifests.
Lashing Calculation
CLOAD for Container Vessel could calculate and check the relevant acceleration and forces acting on container structures, stacking devices and lashing gear for containers stowed on deck and hatch covers, as well as containers stowed inside the cargo hold with/without cell guide supports according to class rules and cargo securing manual.
